Cofferidge Close was built in the mid 1970s and lies wholly within the Stony Stratford Conservation Area. The development extends from the High Street to Silver Street and currently comprises a number of retail units, offices, commercial units and a large area of parking. The main retail unit within the development is the food retail store which is currently occupied by Budgens supermarket. The redevelopment and enhancement proposals are presented in a series of exhibition boards, which can be downloaded below. The plans propose a new, larger food retail store and increase the size of the units fronting the High Street / Watling Street.
